We are a Nelson (NZ) based IANZ Accredited laboratory with over 80 years’ combined experience in materials testing for civil engineering projects and can perform all testing associated with construction.

Our services cover on-site and laboratory testing for dams, roads, subdivisions and building sites.

Laboratory Manager Mick Zeewoldt has 45 years’ experience working on large projects in the north of Western Australia and the Northern Territory. This includes testing in the Gisborne (NZ) for 5 years and Nelson for the past 27 years.

Our staff are passionate about all aspects of civil construction quality assurance and have a vast technical knowledge of both local and Waka Kotahi NZTA specifications

We have a field laboratory in Kaikoura in association with Mark Fissenden of Fissenden Bros and can offer the following field testing and services :-

• Nuclear Density Meter
• Benkelman Beam
• IANZ Accredited Sampling of Aggregates
